100th Anniversary
San Juan Regional Medical Center celebrates its 100th birthday in 2010. The beginning of the hospital was in 1910, the year Dr. A. M. Smith and Dr. G. W. Sammons purchased a four bedroom home at the site of the current emergency room and turned it into an eight bed hospital. Throughout 2010, the hospital will celebrate this milestone with the community by offering a number of events to which the public is invited.

San Juan Regional Medical Center - celebrating it's 100th year of service to the Four Corners - has been built upon a strong foundation by generations of extraordinary men and women who, with great personal sacrifice, brought the blessings of modern medicine to this area.
